Generally speaking you can pair Bluetooth headphones with a Mac. I have a pair of Sony Noise Canceling Headphones paired to my Mac at work, and I have my Apple AirPods paired to my Macbook Pro.
On the Mac go to System Preferences -> Bluetooth, and make sure it it turned on. Leave the Bluetooth System Preferences running.
If when you say Ear Pods, you really mean Apple's AirPods, then on the back of the AirPods case is a button that will put the AirPods into "Discovery" mode. Open the AirPods case and press the button. The Apple AirPods should appear in the Mac Bluetooth preferences as a device you can select for pairing.
If Ear Pods refers to a 3rd party Bluetooth headphones, then find out how you put the headphones into "Discovery" mode. Once you find that information, and you put the Ear Pods into "Discovery" mode, they should appear in the Mac's Bluetooth preferences as a device ready to pair.
With 3rd party Bluetooth Headphones, it has been my experience that finding the instructions on how you put them into "Discovery" mode has been the hardest part of pairing. Once you know the trick, pairing is easy after that.
Over the years I have paired 5 different Bluetooth headphones to my Macs.
