Domain names represent a particular set of IP addresses.

If a domain name gets on the blocklist that identifies a definite set of IP addresses, than your IP could be caught up in that block.

IP are in blocks (sets) and may contain 100's of actual users— so out of your control. One person abusing the Mail can block everyone associated at the ISP.

Who do you get your ip address from? In most cases this will have to be handled by whoever your ISP is. Most users have a private ip address on their local network that is not visible to the Internet including Spamhaus. I think this is an ISP issue that must be handled by them.

This happened to me with CenturyLink as my email provider, someone, was hijacking the domain for spam. It had nothing to do with the Mac.
