Apple Pencil will connect but not work after Updating IOS

I updated to iPadOS 13.3 overnight and when I plug in my pencil is says connected but is not responding to the screen. The pencil was working fine before the update.

i have tried forgetting the pencil, resetting the IPad to factory settings and resetting the general settings.

Apple Pencil not working My apple pencil suddenly stopped working, it will connect for a second then disconnect when i try to use it. iPad pencil not connecting to iPad air I have the newest iPad Air and the 1st generation iPad pencil and it is not connecting to my iPad. I tried plugging it in and restarting, nothing has worked.
