Trying to update an app but keeps asking me for another id apple

Hi

i came across with this problem few months ago.

i had an iphone 6 which i gave it to my mum, i created her own apple id etc.

the problem i have: each time she tries to update any app in AppStore, she cant do it and Appstore keeps asking for my own apple id. I tried to use my apple id but i can't log in. I kept trying for hours with no success. What should i do so she can use her own apple id for everything without the need of using my own?

iPhone 6, iOS 12

Delete the apps that are asking for your ID. Your mum can then make purchases using her Apple ID.

She needs to delete the app and acquire it using her own Apple ID. Even if it means buying it again.

Apps are forever tied to the Apple ID that acquired it. The Apple ID is encoded in the app's DNA.
