uploading songs on my computer to itunes
i cannot drag files to itunes like i use to before the new update

Drag and drop to the Library entry in the side bar or a regular playlist. If that hasn't helped see Repair security permissions for iTunes for Windows - Apple Community in case there is a permissions issue or try reinstalling iTunes.
