If they are commercial DVDs that is something we cannot discuss on these forums as it is a violation of copyright laws. Please read the licensing agreements for the DVDs and you will likly see where they do not allow copying the DVDs for any reason.
However you can play the DVD on a Mac and then use AirPlay to view them via the Apple TV.

The Apple DVD Player application blocks AirPlay, so you would have to use different DVD player software.
