iTunes Match

I got billed today for iTunes Match. I tried to unsubscribe once I saw that I was subscribed somehow. I don't see the option to get rid of it on view/change subscriptions anymore, and the instructions say it's not possible to secure a refund while the charge is till pending. Only problem is, if the charge was pending, the money would still be in my account--and it's not. Why is iTunes Match so hard to get rid of?
