New emoji's not showing on High Sierra

I've recently upgraded my macOS to High Sierra from el capitan, i had no problems with viewing new emojis before i upgraded, but now it seems that all new emojis are blocked. They only show the "square" sign and not the actual emoji. Please give me tips on how to make the emoji's show up again, this really irks me!

Do they show iif you click on the Flag & choose Show emoji?

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?

Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.
