Microphone Input stopped working in Logic

I have had a Scarlet2i2 Audio Interface and a Rode NT1-A microphone setup with Logic Pro X for the past couple of days. It has been working perfectly until today. When I tried to used it today it has been producing little to no sound when I try to record or just speak through it to hear the playback. Even if I turn the sound on the interface and on Logic all the way to max and then speak as close as possible to the mic I can only hear it faintly. The only thing I figured out is that if I unplug the interface while I'm in a Logic session and then plug it back in and quickly speak in the mic then I can hear my self normally and loudly for a second or two before the "Initialising Core Audio" happens and then it goes back to almost silent again. I am pretty sure that I haven't changed any settings and I am for sure using the exact same setup, anyone have any idea on what could be causing this? Thank you in advance.

Let start with the obvious.

Check the input selected in Logic Audio preferences.

Does phantom power is ON from the 212 to the mic? Check the gain for the mic input in the 212.

Is the problem happens with a new Logic project and an audio track with the right input for the mic in the 212 selected? Be sure the track is Record armed.

Are you sure nothing changed like a macOS or Logic update?

Any other message appears when "Initializing Core Audio"?

How are you monitoring? Headphones or speakers? Through the 212 output?
