Im downloading 9.0.9 iMovie but my iMovie says that i need 9.0 or higher To download this version

why does it says that if my iMovie is already higher tan 9.0?

It sounds like you downloaded the 9.0.9 update for iMovie 9.0, not the iMovie 9.0.9 version.

The update would require the version 9 installed in order to update.

Where did you find the update?
