My MacBook has been Sitting on the screen saying ‘Installing Software Update: About 16 minutes’ for more than an hour. How can I resolve this?
Which Update? Some may take hours, but if it seems to be going nowhere you'll have to pwer off & try again in Safe Mode...
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?
