Screentime doesn't block social media???

Wondering if you found a solution to this? I'm having the same problem with Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok. Thanks

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities! I understand you have some questions about Screen Time and social media. I definitely want to make sure you're able to manage those settings, and I'm happy to help.

When you say Screen Time isn't blocking these apps, are you wanting to limit the amount of time allowed for them, prevent them from being downloaded, or something else?

You can see how to set app limits and block purchases/downloads in the resource below. Specifically under "App Limits" and "Contenting & Privacy Restrictions".

Use Screen Time on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If this is related to a different setting for Screen Time, let us know and we'll go from there.

I have tried all of the above suggestions and none work. All settings on his phone are correct. A couple of other friends have also checked his phone for me to make sure I have it set up correctly. Screen time blocks all apps on my son's iPhone except Instagram, Tik Tok, and Snapchat which are the specific apps I'd like to block. After reading through several discussions and also different websites, it seems this is a common problem. How can we fix this?
