Calculator Widget Stuck
Has a definitive workaround been discovered to fix the "stuck number" issue with the calculator widget? My calculator always returns to 39.9 and I have to clear it EVERY TIME.

To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...
Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.
Does it work in the new account?
It works fine in the new admin account.
I can't tell which file might control that, I don't have Calc in Dashboard, but look in...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences
For somethings like com.apple.calculator.plist
Likely the com.apple part will be cpm. whoever made the widget.
What is the full name of the plist?
1st, for safety Right Click on it & choose Duplicate, the Right Click on the Original & choose Delete, then restart.
Here's the link:
com.apple.ncplugin.calculator.plist
Ok. Thank you! I read about deleting a plist file in another thread but I couldn't figure out how to do it. I was able to navigate to the file in my browser though through a provided link but didn't know how to delete it. Maybe someone else will chime in here. It's not a huge issue, but it's so annoying and I'd like it fixed. Thanks so much for your help!
Ok! I’ll give that a try tomorrow and report back. Thank you!
I think we are good to go! Thank you! Initially I was having issues when linking to the file in Chrome. But I tried in Safari and it took me right where I needed to go.
Great news, good work! :)
