disabled ipad

I have plugged in my mother in laws ipad which is currently disabled to my computer. I open iTunes and I cannot locate where to find the ipad - can someone help me please?

Plugging in is insufficient. Read this thoroughly and completely.

If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support
