Calendar scam

A scam link is popping up in my calendar as an event and will not go away or let me delete the event.

This sounds like a subscription event. This was one of the scams going on during the holidays. When you open Calendar, go to the bottom of the page where you see the word Calendars. Tap on that, and you will see a list of calendars, and see if you see one listed that is the same color as the event that is appearing on your calendar. It should show up under Other, or Subscribed. See if you can delete it there. If not, then it may have been added as an email account to sync the calendar. Go to Settings>Passwords & Accounts, see if there is a strange account there. If so, try to delete that.
