Using two phones with the same APPLE ID

So I have two phones, and iPhone 11 and iPhone 63. The 11 is fully functional with a SIM card here in Canada, logged in to my apple ID and everything goes to my cloud including back ups of my apps like WhatsApp and Spotify. my iPhone 6s currently has no SIM and I used on WIFI, but with the SAME apple ID... I use it lately to listen on Spotify because of the headphones thing and when I am in my car.

The iPhone 6s is unlocked. I am travelling next week and i am planning buy a local SIM card with data....

My questions are:

  • Will I still be able to access my Apple ID photos, CONTACTS, Spotify? I dont care much for iMessage and facetime while away I was planning on using WhatsApp on the 6S with the foreign number...
  • Will i be able to access my saved contacts from my apple ID to send messages on WhatsApp?
  • Is this going to confuse the WhatsApp back up on my cloud (since i will have the same Apple ID on both phones?
  • Will photos i take with the 6s be synced in my cloud even if there is a different number?

Thank you

iPhone 6s, iOS 13

To avoid changing the telephone number registered with your iPhone 11 iMessage, if you just never sign in to iMessage on the 6 while using the SIM, you won’t mess up the number you want to use at home for iMessage.

WhatsApp has nothing to do with your AppleID. It does use your cellular telephone number for registration, so you will be making a new WhatsApp account on the iPHone 6. Since your contacts are sync’d via iCloud, yes, WhatsApp will see them just fine.
