After the IOS13 update I removed the ‘Find My’ app. I want to restore it now, but I can’t find it in the AppStore. With Google I found it, but the dowload icon is grayed out and there is a message stating that ‘this app requires specific functionalities that are not available on this device’
The app used to be there after the upgrade, how can I get it back?

You probably found the Find My iPhone app when you searched in google. It has been replaced with the Find My app in iOS 13.
And you will not be able to install it.
The Find My app should still be on your phone.

when I edit my ios13 iphone6s the find my app has no X suggesting it's an app one can't delete
use search to see if it's just in some folder

I had a look myself and tried to remove it from my phone, Seems you cannot delete the app. How did you remove it?
To my knowledge, that icon can't be deleted. Check better, it could have be accidentally moved to a different screen page or "hidden" into a folder.
Or, it should be in Settings>[your name]...

This was indeed the wrong (obsolete) app.
I now remember at the time wanting to remove the ‘Find My’ app but couldn’t, so I placed it in a folder which had two ‘screens’. So hidden deeply.
