I have a macOS Catalina My MAC will open but my apps want. The finder, photos will open with no problem. When I open Safari, googles etc they will open, but when I enter a web site it will not open the site. When I open the App Store, maps, mail etc, they’re completely black. I did hit option command and esc to force quit the apps that were open and shut down my Mac I did it a couple of times. It did not work. Need help. Penny

Try booting your mac up in Safe Mode, this can take several minutes, be patient.
Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac – Apple Support
Then just restart again in normal mode, see if things have improved.
