Rowing activity deleted from Apple watch

I was using my Apple watch to track my rowing exercise. Somehow the rowing activity was deleted from my watch and I can't figure out how to restore it in the list of activities. How can this be done?

Scroll (by turning the digital crown) down to the very bottom of the workout types in the activity app on your watch

tap add workout

scroll down to you find your workout.
