Snip App

I have been using Snip screen capture app from Tencent Inc. on my MacBook pro with no issues.

However, when I downloaded the app to my new MacBook Air when I click to capture the screen image, my display switches to my desktop default picture. What do I need to do so the screen does not change?

MacBook Air 13", macOS 10.15

I do not use the Snip app and therefore do not have a direct answer to your question. However, while you work on getting an answer for that app, how about using the key combination of COMMAND KEY+SHIFT KEY+ 4

This three key combination will allow you get the screen or a specific portion of the screen capture. Thanks.
