I purchased 2TB of iCloud storage for the family. But how do I back up all of the things on my phone that made my phone day not enough storage when I tried taking a photo. I want to transfer the lot of the content on my phone into the 2TB storage

I have gone through every single step in Apple instructions to backup my content on my iPhone.

My question is how do I transfer the content that is causing the "not enough storage" pop-up into the 2TB of extra storage I purchased so it isn't taking up space on my phone?

Or do I need to transfer it to an outside source such as a computer/laptop or external hard drive?!

iCloud does not provide off device storage at all, other than for backups. iCloud is merely a syncing service, therefore, you cannot upload content to iCloud and remove it from your device.

You need to transfer some of the content on your phone to a computer. This will help with photos and videos. I would not use iCloud photos but that it’s up to you. Make sure you familiarize yourself with how iCloud photos works if you decide to use it.
