Looking for an iPhone 4 case that protects the lens

Can't await delivery of my iPhone 4 at end of July. Still looking for a case like Griffin Clarifi for iPhone 3G that *protects the precious main camera lens* with a slider door or—even better—a closeup lens. Couldn't find anything like this in Austrian Apple Store (only Apples bumper case).

An additional advantage of the Griffin case is an "EasyDock" function so you can put the phone into an original Apple Dock without having to dismount the complete case. Here you have some photos of my white iPhone 3G with that case:

Has anyone tried to fit the iPhone 4 into this case? Is there anything similar on the market? I was looking for two hours now and found nothing but crap cases that cover everything BUT the camera!

*There is really a need to cover that camera lens!* It's located at a exposed place and prone to scratches. You don't need to be a professional photographer for knowing that you have to protect lenses. The smaller the more!

Thanks for reading and any hints in advance.

That's good to know, thanks again. I hope that the clear cover doesn't influence photo/video image quality and flash power.

And I don't see any reason why they keep the Apple logo clear (and putting even some more emphasis on it), I am not sure if I like that. Just for proud demonstration: "Look here, it's really an Apple iPhone!" That's not my style and LOTS of cases are constructed like that.

Anyway I'll have definitely a look on that when it comes out and when there are some reviews.

But one thing is clear for me: I've never seen such a bunch of crap like the most iPhone 4 cases available. They are just looking shiny and pretty on product photos.

It didn't affect my 3GS camera. I did have to periodically clean the clear plastic which did collect dust. I do have some concerns about whether the flash coverage will be restricted.

What's the point of owning an iPhone if you can't show your logo?

What?? You mean you don't think the Bumper is the end-all of protection and worth every cent of it's $29.99? You must be trolling!

I too want lens area protection from a case and I would not mind at all removing the the phone from the case to shoot pics or video or docking. A nice thin flip wallet that the phone will not slip out of accidentally but, can be removed can be removed with ease when its intentional. All of the wallet type cases I have seen want to do it all. I don't want it to holster, have ports for docking or multi pin cable. I want the lens area to have soft scratch free protection. Maybe just one hole for earphone connect. Basically something thinline and classy that protects the phone when not in use. I notice the available leather type cases going stitch crazy and having quality control seam issues trying to accommodate holes for everything. a little flip top wallet that I can take the phone out of to use is not too much to ask for.
