Trying to upload app named snowflake requires me to install Java SE 6 but later versions of Java are already on my computer preventing me from installing the legacy version. Any work-arounds for this?

You posted in the High Sierra forum without any mention of having upgraded to Catalina. I had to presume you were using High Sierra and based my initial response on that.

So, that's correct. Apple's Java 6 is 32 bit only and will not run in Catalina.

Taking a quick look, it appears Snowflake is an ODBC driver meant for working with an SQL database? The only thing I can think of that might help is to install the 64 bit JDK version of Java.
