my iPad has Apple care. I lost my iPad on the plane. Find my iPhone all this time says it’s offline. At first I thought it was on the plane. But as of now (6 days later) its still offline.
Does AppleCare cover lost iPad?
i know I enabled “ Find my IPhone” on my iPad. But I can’t connect to it to see the location.

Well if it was on an airplane, you probably left it on Airplane Mode, in which case the iPad will have no connection to the outside world, so Find My will not work. If you paid for AppleCare+, the higher tier of AppleCare which you have to pay for, then it will cover the device.
If the device is offline, you cannot track it.
AppleCare does not provide for a lost or stolen device. AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss can only be purchased for an iPhone, not an iPad.
Yes you are correct. My bad. AppleCare+ for iPad only comes with accidental damage coverage. Not theft and loss. Thanks Chris.

Unfortunately, yes. Those things can happen. Check to see if your homeowner's insurance can cover it.
