Why i can’t shut shutter sound “taking photos sound“ off, i tried to mute the iphone no results ... it is an iphone 11 pro max

Open the camera icon and take a photo. If you get the shutter sound, find the mute mutton on the top left side of your iPhone.
Now press the button towards the back of your phone and take another shot. The sound should now be muted.
You will find that this action does not affect playing music over the phone speakers.
There are many countries (e.g. Japan) where putting camera shutters to silent is illegal
Hence if you have bought an iPhone from any of these countries (e.g. Japan), you cannot put it off.
