I've upgraded to the latest version of Catalina and have the latest iOS version.
All the photos taken on my iPhone after Oct 2 2019 show up at a Grey thumbnail when I try to import them to the Photos app on my Mac.
Any help would be appreciated.

It is not an issue with my library - all my photos show up correctly in my library. It is the photos on my iPhone that have gray thumbnails after Oct 14 2019 when I view them in iPhoto.
