Has anyone had their browser hijacked by prosearchtip? I have an IMac with this issue. Cannot locate anything with this in extensions. Wondering if "Virtualboardsearch" processes in Activity monitor are the culprit. I dont want to delete something that is a valid process! I know we don't need additional programs for virus or malware issues, but do I need one to get rid of this thing?

Thanks for your help! Malwarebytes removed most of the instances of ProSearchtip and I was able to delete the profiles and other areas where it was still there. VirtualBoardSearch was one of the malwares discovered by the software, so if anyone else sees it they will now know.
Give Malwarebytes a try. It's pretty lightweight, but effective against malware/adware and free.
