How can I uninstall Logic Pro 9.1.8 before installing Logic Pro X

Hello,

I want to uninstall Logic Pro 9.1.8 before upgrading to Catalina –

then I want to install Logic Pro X. (I don't need any old productions any more.)

I want to make sure not to accidentally use anything from Logic Pro 9.1.8 in the future

which is not included in Logic Pro X, so that my new .logic files

are fully compatible with Logic Pro X installations on other Macs.

How can I do this?

Many thanks.

iMac 27", macOS 10.12

There is no need to uninstall anything in order to avoid any trouble. But if you have to (because OCD), you can simply trash the 9.1.8 app. But you can do that before or after you've installed LP X, it really doesn't make any difference.
