Can't find Apple Podcast App on Phone

I have an apple iphone 7. The Apple Podcast App is on the phone, but I can't find the icon anywhere on my homescreen or in the folders on my homescreen. I've read other advise about "restrictions" but that does not apply as restrictions is not an option under settings-general.

When I go to the app store, I can't update. It just tells me to "open".

When I swipe to right it shows the icon. I just can't figure out how to get it with the other icons on my homescreen.

Appreciate any help here.
