recover a deleted app during a new iPad data loading

This contact is through my MAC desktop, however my question/support issue is with a new iPad just purchased. The agent at Apple Store transferred the data from old iPad (belonging to husband) into the new iPad. With the transfer his game apps were deleted. The agent reviewed which apps i wished to stay and those she could delete. Can I install the game apps that were deleted from iCloud? His iPad was fully backed up. Product purchased was IPAD AIR 3 and I also have an agreement number for apple care. Date of purchase January 10,2020

In theory yes. You can go into the App Store on the device, and purchased and redownload apps

That said, the new ipad must be using the same Apple ID as the old one and that app must still be available. Just while developers add thousands of apps a week to the store, they abandon almost as many (the number of people using them just isn’t high enough to justify paying people to maintain it)
