Catalina: Macintosh HD Data Drive

How do I create a shortcut for this drive? I cannot move it, make an alias or anything. This is where ALL my working files are and I use it CONSTANTLY. I really need it to show up on the desktop. Anyone have an answer for me? Thanks.

If this is what you mean:

Finder, Preferences, General, enable: show HD on desktop

Finder > Preferences > General > Hard Disks.

It will (or at least should does for me) show on the desktop with the name Macintosh HD.

Note the following from About the read-only system volume in macOS Catalina - Apple Support

Your files and data are stored in another volume named Macintosh HD - Data. In the Finder, both volumes appear as Macintosh HD.
