SSD on a PCIe card not working 2019 Mac Pro

Hi,

I've tried two cards to install a 2.5 inch SSD in my 2019 MPro, OWC's and this one from Sonnet:

Sonnet specifically told me the card worked in a 2019 MPro but it exhibits the same issue. Which is that I will return to my desk to find the machine has rebooted and issues a crash report. With the cards removed the machine is stable.

Has anyone else had the issue? Do we know the cause? Is there currently a viable internal SSD solution?
