Anyone know how to connect an iPhone XR to a Chrysler 8.4N UConnect System

iPhone XR is supposed to support MAP Bluetooth connectivity. Mine won't allow text forwarding to the UConnect software on the car's (2013 Chrysler 300 with 8.4N UConnect) infotainment system. On line posts refer to going into the iPhone' Setting/Bluetooth/picking the car's bluetooth system and clicking the 'circled i' and enabling the 'Show Notifications' option. Trouble is there is no option to do this in the XR's menu.

Do I have to re-pair (no pun intended) the iPhone with the vehicle?

My wife's Samsung works flawlessly in this fashion.

I do not own a Chrysler, and have never used UConnect. But I think I have solved your problem.

Thanks for providing a good, detailed explanation of your issue. I started at the UConnect website, went through identifying the vehicle per your post, and landed here.

You did not specify your cellular carrier, so I guessed AT&T. I suspect the result would be the same for all carriers.

Anyway, I ended up entering this (the iPhone X is the latest iPhone available in the choices):

And, lo and behold, I saw this result:

Note the texting features are greyed out! Oh well...
