Catalina - How to keep elapsed time showing in Song Title Window?

I just went to a new MacBook Pro and Catalina Music app. Now the elapsed and yet-to-go times go away without the mouse in that window. I am a choreographer and DEPEND on having this elapsed time information for songs as they play. As the music plays I'm making notes, so I cannot keep the mouse in that window. I noticed that the DJs have the same issue. I really need the song elapsed times all the time. It's almost like Apple is moving away from the artists! As a second comment, when the elapsed time does show, it is very light gray; seems lighter than before but maybe not since it's not showing all the time to see it. Any fixes for these? thanks

Thank you for the link to Music app support. I did submit a request.

I also noted for others out there (DJs) that as a work-around, the Mac Music MiniPlayer does show both the elapsed and yet-to-go times, although you don't have the accessibility to the rest of your library and app.

The link you sent me is for Garage Band which I submitted, but it's asking me for info on Garage Band. Well since the issue is playing music in the Music app, not sure what to put there. I asked for a new feature, however since iTunes had this, it seems like an oversight. I hope that my request will get to the right people.

wolf77, I do not understand why you have marked this issue as "solved," when all you were given was a link to send in feedback to Apple in regards to this issue, when Apple more than likely gets millions of feedback submissions, of which I am certain it does not read and respond to a majority of them. A lot of people, such as you and I, have this question, and sending feedback to Apple about it, to me, does not solve the issue at hand.

LOL! No worries, wolf77, I think we have all done that!

If my previous reply came across as critical or as an admonishment, neither of those was my intent. I am just so frustrated with all of the changes that have been made in Catalina, most of them without thought for ease of use by the end-user, us and others like us, I apologize for bringing my frustrations to your question and to you.

I will resubmit the question, and I hope we both get the answer(s) we seek!

You are correct. Thank you. It is not solved yet. Unfortunately getting used to my new MacBook and accidentally hit solved, even though it isn't. I couldn't undo it.
