Carrier's parameters (APN, MMS and Hotspot) are in Settings>Cellular>Cellular data network.

I updated my iPhone but sms facility is not working(in-out both). I called to Vodafone customer care and they advised me to change sms centre number as given by them.
There is no such thing on iPhone. Which carrier are you retying to use. Contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider) The agency who issued the SIM to you for Carrier Settings Update.
Carrier Update (Required): Released by your Cellular Service provider (Carrier Update), affects your Outgoing / Incoming calls, SMS, Data etc..

You can manually check for and install a carrier settings update with these steps: Make sure your device is connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular network. Tap Settings > General > About. If an update is available, you'll see an option to update your carrier settings.
