Pages 'Informal CV template' not the footer but the text box above it

Hello

I can usually blunder my way through most programs and google if I'm stuck but not knowing what this is called makes it difficult to search for.

Question is What's it called and how do I edit its contents?

I know I could delete it but that's not learning is it?

many thanks in advance

Hi Neville,

It is a text box containing Place Holder text.

Click on it twice to see the salmon-coloured Place Holder text. When you start typing, your text replaces the Place Holder.

Not a good design in my opinion. It would be better to create separate blocks of Place Holder text that you can replace one at a time.

The templates provide ideas that you can adapt to your own workflow.

To toggle Place Holder Text on and off, select the text and Menu > Format > Advanced

Regards,

Ian.
