Small scratch on Apple Watch face

I have a small, about 2 mm scratch on the face of the watch. It hardly noticeable, mostly when the screen is blank.

Is it possible/advisable to use very fine car polish to try to remove the scratch? This is a very good, fine, hand use only polish.
