Is it scam

I received several phone calls from number 866-752-**** and when I finally answered a guy with an accent was presenting himself as apple support technician saying that my Apple ID has been compromised and used overseas. I hanged up but wanted to verify If this is legit apple phone number or another spam trying to get personal information.
