Using iphone on metro
1st why my sim is not working on metro pcs but can be used on simple mobile?
2)the carrier on the iphone says metro 40.0 so why cant it be used on metro?

Where did you buy the phone? Through Simple Mobile?
If so, it's likely locked to their network and you need to contact them about getting it unlocked.
