You should not have to run any Mac software as root. A standard admin account should be sufficient to run Mac software. A quick search shows "vuze" to be bittorrent software (I've never heard of it so I don't know if it is "safe") which normally should not need any special privileges. Is this app legitimate and did you acquire it from directly from the developer? If you acquired from some other download site, then it could contain malware.

FYI, you did not list the path to the app.

"Thanks, tried that in both root and normal user, didn't get anywhere, under which log in should it be? root?"

Just where is this File Stored?:

I'm not certain if this would work, but it appears this is looking for the file in your Home folder.

So, with Terminal open, enter the following command and then drag this application's icon to the end of this command, keeping a Space after "open":

sudo open

Next, press enter and use the password.

I agree with HWTech that this appears to be very suspicious. Any program that needs to be installed with additional privileges would have a installer that prompted for your admin password.

Second you did not follow the instructions BDAqua gave you, even though they are visible on the screen in your screenshot. You did not include the -a in your command.

But truthfully, I'm not sure you should do this.

I would go back to the Vuze official website and find their installation instructions. The website should give you step by step instructions.

But if the website says you need to activate the 'root' account to install this app, I would seriously consider looking for a different similar product that does not need to be 'root'.
