Wrong number for texting. Put in correct number, phone reverts to wrong number. How do I Remove the wrong number. It is NOT in my contacts.

Three Questions here:

1) Put in a wrong number for texting. Realized the error, put in the correct number, however, when I try to send a text to this person, the phone always reverts to the wrong number. How do I erase the wrong number from texting contacts? (this wrong number does not show in my contact list.)

2). How do I remove texting contacts in the texting app?

3). How do I make a group text with a name? Have went through I cloud and this does not work either?
