I need to save a lot of texts from a few of my contacts, is there a method or program I can use to get a .doc or pdf of the texts? If it was a few texts I'd screenshot them but there's a lot.

You’ll need software for MacOS or Windows to do that. One recommended one (by forum members here) for MacOS is Phoneview - https://www.ecamm.com/mac/phoneview/ This runs on your Mac and lets you offload text messages to the computer. Another one for Windows is called iExplorer I think. Neither is expensive though.
