Iphone battery replacement

I wish to replace my iphone battery at Best Buy. Best buy informs me that I need a code or approval from Apple to do this. Can you assist?

This is a user-to-user forum. I suggest that, if possible, you have Apple replace the battery. If you can't do that, ask Best Buy how to get this code.
