Is there any way to enable GPS?
While using an app on my sons iPad it said that there is no GPS chip. Is there any way to enable GPS, can I fit a chip or do I need to buy a new iPad with a GPS chip?

ONLY the WiFi AND cellular model iPads have the GPS chip built-in.
You would need to purchase a WiFi AND cellular model iPad.
