Why can’t i update my iPad?

I can’t update my iPad because it took me a bit of time to download the update data, but when I download it, i clicked install now but it would say “An error occurred, please try again soon”. Can someone please help me fix this? Let me know!

This is what I would do.

Tap on Remind me Later to get rid of that dialog box. Then tap Automatic Updates and turn it off. Now delete the iOS software in the settings.

Go to Settings>General>iPad Storage. Let the list of all of your apps load. Swipe down to find the iOS software. Tap on it. Then delete it in the next screen.

Restart your iPad and try the update again. You will have to download the software again.
