Unresponsive to touch

Cna’t tell, it is a refurb, advertised to be 2018 i recall. This morning after full charge ( had been 80%) it worked, then this evening charge fell through the day (screen was on while i was away) and when reached 12% again locked up. Still has not recovered. APple help said to get it to a mechanic in nearest apple store.

Yes, as soon as gekkotech.ca responds to email. I passed by last evening but it was late and in a snowstorm, so i will jump down on the store tomorrow. I hope there is a staffed store, i haven’t seen it before. Hey, maybe it will work again tonight. I can maybe do the factory reboot suggested by the chat helper, using the iMac. Meanwhile i keep using the broken screened 16 gig ipad mini.

Ok panic over, suddenly the new ipad responds to touch. Maybe it was still setting up in background, or something.

Nope, its doing it again. Took the code but wont respond to tapping on apps. Panic on again.

So seems randomf it responds to touch or not.
