How do I run App based Siri Shortcuts while my phone is locked? (Like while driving) If I can’t then what’s the point of the Shortcuts? I saw some similar posts from October 2018, with no resolution but wonder if that’s now been fixed?

You can use Siri. If your car has bluetooth and your phone is connected, there is usually a button in your car to activate Siri. You could also set up "listen for hey Siri" in Siri settings. That way, you dont have to look at your phone. Within settings for individual Shortcuts, you can create custom phrases that you can say to Siri to activate the shortcut.
I guess i can’t help you then. I am able to use siri to activate my shortcuts when the phone is locked. i would just suggest playing around with your settings to see if anything will work.
Thanks, I have the voice activated ‘Hey Siri’ piece working fine, my problem is that Siri cannot / will not run my shortcut unless my phone is unlocked. Which gets me back to needing to touch the phone.
