App Crash

How can I collect crash logs if there is an App crashing?

For example:

If the Mail app becomes unresponsive, can I take a sample of the app's logs? If yes, then how can I do that?

How to Locate information for app crashes to assist in diagnosis I have apps that crash most days & have had this for years. I us an iPad Pro 11” Gen 3 on iPadOS 16.5. I would like to be able to get information on the problems to more accurately get a general clue of what the problem is. for example, Libby is a library loan management app that allows reading or listening to eBooks or Audiobooks. Most of the time I listen. The app seems to crash multiple times most hours & seems to be getting worse. I have looked at Analytics data & found only one entry for Libby. Is there a better way to find out what’s happening? Thank you for your assistance. Paul

If you see the error dialog you posted, then click on the Report button. This should provide a copy of the crash report that you can copy and paste into a TextEdit document for saving.

All logs will be found in the Logs folders. One in /Home/Library/ folder and the other in the /Library/ folder.
