Problem with email

My email (Gmail) on my iMac is giving me an error message: "Mail cannot save information about your mailboxes because there isn't enough space in your home folder.

Quit Mail and delete any files you don't need. Then open Mail again. (then a quit button, which CLOSES the mail program.)

HOW or WHERE do I delete files in MAIL ???

Hi Duane,

Deleting files in Mail is not going to be enough, look for some big GB sized files in Documents Or Downloads?

Can you move some Music Or Pics, or Videos to another drive?

Have you emptied the trash lately?
