Which office version can I use with my computer currently on OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.6 ???

Office 2011 for Mac (which was retired by Microsoft in Oct 2017). Microsoft is tracking Apple's three-year sliding support window, so they now require the installation of macOS High Sierra (10.13.6) before one can install either current releases of Office 365, or Office 2019 for Mac.
